Jason Smith

HI! I'm Mr. Smith, and I am the PROUD Principal of Rowe Elementary & Middle School! I'm a former math teacher, and I have been in school administration since 2007. I've had the chance to work in a few different places, like Round Lake, Skokie, & Bensenville. I love being a Principal, because I get a chance to interact with, support, and learn from everyone connected to the school!

In my spare time, I enjoy playing competitive ice hockey, I run, I read, and I spend time with my family - my wife is also an educator, and I have twin boys who are juniors in high school, and my eldest son is a freshman at Iowa State.

What I like best about working at Rowe: "The people here are AMAZING, and I mean ALL of the people - staff, students, parents...we are all working collaboratively to make sure our scholars succeed at everything they put their minds to! In addition, I love the fact that we are part of Northwestern University Settlement House, which provides our families with ENDLESS support, whether academic or not. We TRULY care about our students and families!"
