Enrolling your child(ren) at Rowe is a GREAT way to set them on the path to college and lifelong success!

What documents do I need to COMPLETE registration?

Guardian(s) photo identification
-
2 proofs of CHICAGO residency (water bill, eletric bill, lease, etc...)

Student's birth certificate
-
Copy of a current physical exam, vision exam, dental exam & shot records

A non-refundable registration fee
-
If applicable: a copy of your child's IEP or 504 plan
2024 - 2025 School Year
We are a non-selective public school. Enrollment is open to all students K-8th grade who live in the city of Chicago. There are no tuition costs or testing requirements to attend!
At Rowe, we know that finding the right school for your child is a priority. We use a streamlined application process to make things easier for you and your family!
Application Process:
1. Submit an Application
Complete and submit an online or paper application for each of your children you would like to enroll at Rowe.
2. Kindergarten Lottery
If more kindergarten applications are received than we have space for, your child’s application will be entred into a random enrollment lottery. This process helps us ensure fairness in the application process. For 1st-8th grade, Rowe has a rolling waitlist, this means that seats will be offered in the order they are recieved. If we need to create a waitlist and lottery for these grades, you will be notified.
3. Notification via email
Once the kindergarten lottery is complete, you will receive notification on whether your child was accepted or waitlisted at Rowe. For grades 1st-8th, waitlist acceptance letters will be mailed out after the Kindergarten lottery.
