There are always projects that need doing at House In The Wood. Our small full-time staff do amazing work putting on all of our youth and adult programs, but the help of our wonderful volunteers makes our campus really shine. If you have a talent you’d like to share (or just a desire to help), there are many ways to get involved at House In The Wood.
Be a permanent part of disrupting generational poverty.
Our Summer Camp and Outdoor Education programs almost exclusively work with low-income children and families from Chicago. We target ages 7-15 for summer camp and third through eighth grade in our Outdoor Education programs. All of our fun and engaging activities have several layers of purpose behind them. They may build skills in teamwork, communication, independence or responsibility.
