Evanston Woman's Board Visits for Annual Mother's Day Luncheon

For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, the Evanston Woman’s Board (EWB) convened for the annual Mother’s Day Luncheon in the Guild Room at Northwestern Settlement on May 16. Board members were greeted by staff of the Settlement’s Early Childhood Education program and Carole Wood, CEO of Northwestern Settlement, who thanked them all for their continued and conscientious support. After lunch the board proceeded to hold a short meeting.

Founded in 1909, The Evanston Woman's Board supports Northwestern Settlement through a wide range of activities. Believing that a single action can make lives better for our neighbors, the EWB helps to secure funding for essential programs by helping to obtain grants and through its Dollar Letter Writing Campaign, while also volunteering to support the Settlement’s many initiatives.
