On Friday, June 10th, Northwestern Settlement celebrated the fifth
anniversary of our Family CARES program. Family CARES provides free, bilingual mental health counseling and family wellness services to children and families. Families, neighbors, staff, and board members gathered to mark the occasion with a special event that highlighted the connectedness that makes the Settlement and its programs special and unique.
The event featured mental wellness activities, arts & crafts, raffle prizes, and even a visit from some of our House In The Wood staff, who brought along a few crowd-favorite animals from our Outdoor Education Center.
